ASSEGNAZIONE E VALUTAZIONE

DELLA TESI DI LAUREA MAGISTRALE

Per l'acquisizione dei crediti finali ai fini del conseguimento della Laurea Magistrale è previsto lo svolgimento di una tesi.

L’impegno delle attività di tesi (23 CFU) è non superiore a 5 mesi/uomo.

La tesi di Laurea viene svolta dallo studente sotto la supervisione di un relatore afferente al CAD di Ingegneria Aerospaziale.

L’assegnazione e svolgimento della tesi avvengono sulla base della seguente procedura:

• quando ha acquisito almeno 80 CFU lo studente identifica un tema di tesi di interesse e lo definisce con il relatore; formalizza l'assegnazione del tema all’inizio dell’attività, richiedendo l'assegnazione della tesi qui
  Tra la data di assegnazione e l'esame di Laurea devono passare almeno quattro mesi
  
• per gli studenti che presentino domanda per l’attribuzione di borse di studio per tesi all’estero, su bandi emessi dalla Facoltà di Ingegneria civile e industriale dell’Università di Roma “La Sapienza”, l’assegnazione della tesi può essere anticipata in considerazione della scadenza prevista dal bando. La procedura di cui al punto precedente, inclusa la verifica sul requisito degli 80 CFU, deve essere comunque completata prima di iniziare le attività di tesi
• alla conclusione della tesi lo studente consegna al relatore l’elaborato finale.
• lo studente compila il modulo ON-LINE comprendente un questionario sul lavoro di tesi svolto. 
• prima dell’esame di Laurea il relatore compila il modulo di valutazione e lo trasmette alla segreteria didattica del DIMA¹

• il laureando espone il lavoro svolto alla commissione
• al termine della presentazione i membri della commissione esprimono il giudizio sulla presentazione della tesi
• il Presidente determina il voto di Laurea in funzione del giudizio del relatore, della valutazione della commissione e della media dei voti degli esami sostenuti.

MEMORANDUM DEL LAUREANDO

Passi per lo svolgimento della Tesi di Laurea

• Concordare un tema con un docente (relatore).
  
• Richiedere l'assegnazione della tesi tramite il  modulo on-line: la tesi deve essere assegnata almeno quattro mesi prima dell'esame di Laurea.
• Attendere l'esito della richiesta fatta via email.
• Compilare elettronicamente la domanda di Laurea secondo le istruzioni riportate alla pagina dedicata sul sito della Sapienza; il laureando che avesse svolto attività stagistica di tesi presso un'azienda deve includere nella documentazione l'attestato di frequenza indicante la durata delle attività svolte firmato dall'azienda e controfirmato dal Presidente del CAD.  
• Redigere l’elaborato di tesi e consegnarlo al relatore, che compilerà il modulo di valutazione della tesi
• L'elaborato di tesi in formato elettronico deve essere caricato nel sistema almeno sette giorni prima della data dell'esame di Laurea
• Entro la data dell’esame di Laurea compilare il questionario on-line sull’attività svolta.
• Dopo la Laurea iscriversi al Sapienza AeRospace Alumni (SARA) inserendo il curriculum.

Master’s Thesis

A thesis is required for the acquisition of the final credits for the purposes of obtaining the Master's Degree.

The time commitment of the thesis activities (23 CFU) is no more than 5 months.

The thesis is carried out by the student under the supervision of a supervisor from the CAD of Aerospace Engineering.

The assignment and development of the thesis take place on the basis of the following procedure:

• When the student has acquired at least 80 credits, he/she  defines the topic of the thesis with the supervisor and at the beginning of the activity requests the assignment of the thesis using the following link. A period of at least 4 months must elapse between the thesis assignment and the final exam.
• for students who apply for the assignment of scholarships for a thesis abroad in response to calls issued by the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Rome "La Sapienza", the assignment of the thesis can be anticipated in consideration of the deadline foreseen by the call. The procedure referred to in the previous point, including the verification of the 80 CFU requirement, must in any case be completed before starting the thesis activities.
• the student fills in the ON-LINE form including a questionnaire on the thesis work.
• before the graduation exam, the supervisor fills out the evaluation form and sends it to the DIMA teaching secretariat.
• the graduate student who has carried out an internship thesis activity at a company must include in the documentation the certificate of attendance indicating the duration of the activities carried out signed by the company and countersigned by the President of the CAD.

 
The graduation exam takes place according to the following procedure:

• The students hand in the thesis to the president of the Commission and delivers a PowerPoint presentation to the Commission members who will then evaluate the presentation.
• The President will determine the final graduation mark based on the advisor’s and of the Commission’s judgment as well as on the basis of the students average career marks.
