Other learning activities
Art. 10, para. 5, letter d of Ministerial Decree 270/04 stipulates that Courses of Study must include “.. learning activities designed to enable acquisition of further knowledge of languages, IT, computer, and interpersonal skills, or other skills as may be useful for entering the world of work, along with learning activities designed to facilitate the range of work choices, by direct experience of the types of work to which the academic qualification may give access, including, in particular, in-work training and orientation as set out in Employment Ministry Decree no. 142 of 25 March 1998”.
These other learning activities (AAF - Altre Attività Formative) can be summarised as falling into two types:
1. an activity proposed by the student and carried out autonomously (including, in addition to those mentioned above, participation on a course, a cycle of seminars, a conference, or a student competition)
2. an activity offered by this University or by the Aerospace Engineering CAD
Procedure for approval/formal registration of the CFU credit for this activity: the student must send the documentation (Type 1) or the notification (Type 2) relating to the activity carried out, by email to Prof. R. Paciorri ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and must make a reservation for the application to be recorded officially as part of the currently active appeal on the Infostud system not more than three months after conclusion of the activity. At the same time as making this reservation, the student must note the date, place, and time for official registration given in the "Avvisi e comunicazioni[information and notifications] " section. Should the application be rejected, the student will be informed by email before the official registration date.
Type 1 applications must be accompanied by documentation setting out:
- the date on which the activity was carried out, which must not be before the date of enrolment on the course
- a brief description of the activity
- documentary proof of participation/ attendance along with, where possible, a declaration that the student passed a suitability test, or attended an interview during which it was ascertained that they had acquired knowledge of the activity carried out.
For Type 2 applications the only requirement is to notify Prof. R. Paciorri, the tutor responsible for registering the application, by email and giving the title and date of the module taken.
