INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS OF VARIOUS TYPES

1.     RECOGNITION OF CFU CREDITS ACQUIRED IN THE ERASMUS PROGRAMME: this application, which must comply with ERASMUS regulations (see theVademecum studenti Erasmus included in the attachments to the INTERNAZIONALE section) must be submitted to the CAD delegate, Prof. G. Romano ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) who will inform the student about the equivalent subjects. On that basis, and if necessary, they may submit a new Study Plan. Students returning from study abroad must submit, delegate, Prof. G. Romano, their request for validation of the CFU credits they acquired abroad. Upon acceptance thereof (and when the marks have been converted) they must apply online at www.didatticaingegneria.it for them to be validated.

2.     BRING FORWARD EXAMINATIONS INCLUDED IN THE THREE-YEAR DEGREE COURSE[for students a) enrolled to repeat Year 1 or Year 2, b) who have passed all the required examinations for their current year of the course and for the previous years, for a maximum of 2 subject modules] the application must be submitted not later than 01 March in case a) and not later than 10 July in case b) to the DIMA Office (Via Eudossiana, 18 [1]) using the modulo anticipo esami [application form for bringing forward examinations] (see the Studenti/Moduli section of the website).

3.     BRING FORWARD MASTER'S DEGREE COURSE EXAMINATIONS: [for students a) enrolled to repeat Year 1 of MAER or MSAR, b) who have passed all the required examinations for their current year of the course and for the previous years, for a maximum of 2 subject modules] the application must be submitted to the DIMA Office (Via Eudossiana, 18 [1]) not later than 01 March in case a) and not later than 10 July in case b) using the modulo anticipo esami [application form for bringing forward examinations] (see the Studenti/Moduli section of the website)

4.     BRING FORWARD AERONAUTICAL ENGINEERING MASTER’S EXAMINATIONS: (for students enrolled on Year 1, for a maximum of 1 subject module) the application must be submitted not later than 01 March to the DIMA Office (Via Eudossiana, 18 [1]) using the modulo anticipo esami [application form for bringing forward examinations] (see the Studenti/Moduli section of the website)

5.     ENROLMENT ON INDIVIDUAL COURSES FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE GRADUATES OF SAPIENZA (for bringing forward Master’s Course examinations prior to registration): the application must be submitted to Infostud (using the function TASSE [FEES] -> CORSI SINGOLI [INDIVIDUAL COURSES]) in the way set out at art. 28 paragraphs 1.d and 5 of the Manifesto degli studi.

6.     ENROLMENT ON INDIVIDUAL COURSES FOR STUDENTS WHO DO NOT MEET ALL THE CURRICULAR REQUIREMENTS (for enrolment on Master’s Courses): the application must be submitted to Infostud (using the function TASSE [FEES] -> CORSI SINGOLI [INDIVIDUAL COURSES]) in the way set out at art. 28 paragraphs 1.d and 4 of the Manifesto degli studi.

7.     ADVANCE OPINION ON THE RECOGNITION OF EXAMINATIONS: this must be requested by email from Prof. F. Nasuti ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ). The request must be accompanied by a copy of a document certifying the examinations passed at the student's previous university or on their course of study. Requests not accompanied by this certification will not be considered.

8.     RECOGNITION OF 1 CFU CREDIT FOR OTHER LEARNING ACTIVITIES (AAF - Altre Attività Formative):this application must be made not later than 3 months after completion of the activity by emailing the documentation to Prof. F. Nasuti ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and making a reservation on the Infostud systemfor the application to be recorded officially as part of the currently active appeal on the system. At the same time as making the reservation, the student must note the date, place, and time given in the "Avvisi e comunicazioni [information and notifications]" section for the official registration. Should the application be rejected, the student will be informed by email before the official registration date.

PROCEDURE FOR MAKING AN APPLICATION ON THE DIDATTICA INGEGNERIA [ENGINEERING TEACHING] WEBSITE

Applications for Recognitionof CFU credits acquired (at other institutions, as part of the ERASMUS programme, or for other qualifications) must be made online at www.didatticaingegneria.it in the following ways:

1.     Students not already registered online at www.didatticaingegneria.itmust now do so. The personal information required should include the applicant's name and surname, gender, place of birth, date of birth, current address, tax code, enrolment number, email address, and contact telephone number. The registration should state the course on which they are enrolled.

2.     As soon as registration has been completed, the examinations passed should be entered (including the marks) in the Portafoglio Esami" [Examinations Portfolio] section. All data entered will remain confidential and will be used exclusively for managing the student's academic career within the course of studies. The Portafoglio Esami [Examinations Portfolio] must be kept up to date.

3.     Examinations passed at the engineering Faculties of Sapienza (and examinations recognised by the CAD delegate for the ERASMUS programme) are uploaded from the databases of those courses (including those for examinations passed under the previous university rules). If they are not, examinations can be entered manually, indicating the university and the degree course to which they refer. Credits acquired for other learning activities can also be entered into the Examinations Portfolio.

4.     At the item denominated Passaggi/Riconoscimenti [Transfers/Recognition] the document certifying the examinations passed (or in the case of the ERASMUS the validation and the conversion of marks issued by the CAD delegate) must be uploaded in PDF format; all the documents uploaded must be combined as a SINGLE PDF file of less than 1MB. When all of this information has been entered and uploaded the application should be sent to the CAD by clicking on Registra [Confirm Registration].

5.     The application will be considered by the CAD. The student will receive an email giving the CAD's decision and listing the examinations that have been recognised within the course the student wishes to take. Immediately upon receiving the CAD's decision, the student must print and sign it and deliver this copy to the DIMA Office (Via Eudossiana, 18 [1]) as soon as possible (and not more than 5 days after receiving the email). N.B.: in the case of documentation relating to the ERASMUS programme, the only requirement for the student is to give online confirmation.

Online applications made at www.didatticaingegneria.itby students who do not meet the enrolment requirements for one of the degree courses of the Aerospace CAD will not be considered.

OUTCOMES OF APPLICATIONS

The CAD responds to applications with code 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 in the form of Board Decisions, which are published online at www.ingaero.uniroma1.it (CAD Documents).
